What is the difference between a GTIN barcode and a QR code on my product?
A GTIN linear barcode (EAN-13, UPC-A, or EAN-8) is the standard identifier scanned at checkout and in wholesale systems. A QR code can carry richer data—such as a Digital Link URL, marketing content, or authentication—while still pointing back to your registered product record. DST supports both from one registry.
